The Story

- Transparent LP

- Signed by the band

- Hand-numbered to order

- Artwork by Brian Cannon (Oasis)

Blood Records family ā€˜The Howlers’ are back with their second EP ā€˜Further Down The Line’, pressed to transparent vinyl, limited to 500 copies, signed by the band and hand-numbered. Inspired by hip-shaking genres like soul and Motown, the EP is a melting pot of warm and nostalgic sounds blended with fiery and fresh tones, and it was ultimately vocalist Adam Young's foray into the back catalogue of tambourine player Norman Whitfield, most notable for his driving percussion on tracks with Edwin Starr, which led to the creation of the new material. This collection of four tracks which evidence a leap in maturity sonically, whilst still staying true to the trademark Howlers musicality, it's been produced by Chris Ostler and Tommy Taylor from Black Honey and mastered by Felix Davis (Lana Del Rey, Easy Life, Public Access TV) at Metropolis Studios.Ā The artwork is by Brian Cannon (Oasis).

Please note that Blood Records is a pre-ordering platform and this record is due for releaseĀ on September 16thĀ 2022.Ā All images for illustrative purposes.
