Oscar Langâs new album âLook Nowâ gets an exclusive picture disc release via Blood Records, with die-cut sleeve, limited to 500 copies and hand-numbered to order.
Since emerging onto the scene in 2017 the London-based multi-instrumentalist has racked up millions of streams with tracks such as âSheâs Like Another Boyâ and âThe Moon Songâ as well as collaborations with Wallice and Beabadoobee.
A split from his childhood sweetheart sent Lang spiralling, dramatically changing the course of the follow-up to the psychedelic-tinged fuzzy-rock of his 2021 debut Chew The Scenery at the same time as driving Lang into the most creatively fruitful period of his short career.Â
âGoing through a break-up completely changed everything,â he says. âI started writing ballads about it and then realised, âthis is what I want it to beâ. For a while, I was doing guitar rock songs trying to be a rock star but then I realised that I just really love ballads. My biggest inspirations are people that can just sit at the piano and sing a song everyone can relate to."
Please note that Blood Records is a pre-ordering platform and this record is due for release on July 21st 2023. All images for illustrative purpose.
