Originally released on Chess Club the record featured breakthrough singles King City, Honey, The Sea and She Changes The Weather. âWhere The Heaven Are We?â was dubbed as one of the prominent works of Birminghams âB-Townâ scene which gave rise to the likes of Peace, Jaws, Troumaca and Superfood. Recorded in Brussels with Producer Charlie Hugall it peaked at Number 20 in the charts; part narrative on the brutalist city the music came from, part glimmering early 90âs escapism.
